A school in Mass. contracted out providing lunches at school to a private contractor. Pretty much SOP these days. It seems 25 students didn't have enough money in their prepaid accounts or enough cash to pay for it. Not a problem, right. Wrong.

Can you imagine the hurt and embarrassment these kids had to go through? Then to top it off, the school has a policy where if they can't pay, they get a cheese sandwich and a glass of milk. Real nutrious. Why can't they get what the other kids get? What the hell is wrong with us. We can waste trillions on weapons of mass destruction and illegal, immoral wars, but we can't feed our kids? To paraphrase Gandhi "I like your America, it's Americans I don't like.".
